job Title: Senior Accountant

Job Summary:

The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing and overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting management with financial insights. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead accounting processes efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and statutory requirements.
  • Review and reconcile accounts, ledgers, and bank statements.
  • Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
  • Implement and improve accounting processes, policies, and internal controls.
  • Supervise and mentor junior accountants and accounting staff.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to assist management in decision-making.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelors/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 5–8years of accounting experience, with at least 2–3 years in a senior role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Strong Knowledge and use of Busy Software).
  • Advanced MS Excel and financial analysis skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and leadership skills.
