Job Title: NPD Officer – Seasoning & Spice Blend Development

Location: Unit 395, Rai – Sonipat, Haryana

Salary: Up to ₹35,000 per month

Reporting To: Assistant Manager – NPD

About The Role
We are seeking a New Product Development (NPD) Officer with a strong background in seasoning and ethnic spice blend formulation. This role is critical to our product innovation pipeline and involves translating culinary ideas into scalable, commercially viable seasoning recipes.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and optimize dry seasoning blends, ethnic spice mixes, and other flavor systems.

Conduct lab-scale trials, prepare prototypes, and participate in scale-up and commercial trials.

Perform taste balancing and assess ingredient interactions for optimal flavor and stability.

Organize and conduct sensory evaluations, including panel testing and documentation.

Maintain accurate records of all trials, formulations, and product iterations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, production, and QA during development stages.

Ensure compliance with food safety, labeling, and regulatory standards during product development.

Required Experience & Skills
Proven hands-on experience in seasoning/spice blend R&D.

Sound knowledge of flavor balancing, ingredient functionality, and recipe standardization.

Experience in sensory trials and flavor profiling.

Proficient in documenting and maintaining trial data and technical reports.

Ideal Candidate Will Have
Background in Food Technology, Culinary Science, or related disciplines.

1–3 years of relevant experience in a similar role (seasonings/spices/FMCG industry).

Passion for food innovation and a practical understanding of Indian and global spice profiles.
