Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Solar Site Engineer located in Kolkata. The role will include overseeing on-site solar PV system installations, ensuring project designs are followed, maintaining quality control standards, and supporting project management. The candidate will work closely with senior engineers to ensure compliance with safety protocols, review structural and engineering specifications, and provide clear communication with team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • On-site project management experience, including the ability to monitor and oversee solar system installations
  • Strong communication skills for efficient coordination with team members and stakeholders
  • Knowledge of Quality Control processes to ensure that installations meet safety and performance standards
  • Proficiency in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering principles applicable to solar energy projects
  • Technical degree in Engineering (Electrical, Civil, or related field preferred)
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and willingness to work on-site
  • Prior experience in solar energy projects is an added advantage
  • Minimum 1 years experience in solar
