We are looking for an experienced and process-driven Quality Manager to lead and enhance our quality assurance and quality control systems.

Role Summary:

The Quality Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems across fabrication and erection processes. The role includes ensuring compliance with national/international standards, driving continuous improvement, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to uphold the highest quality standards in line with PEB industry practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain a robust Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with ISO and PEB standards
• Ensure adherence to quality standards during fabrication, welding, painting, and erection activities
• Conduct internal and external quality audits across factory and site locations
• Prepare and review Quality Assurance Plans (QAP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), and related documentation
• Oversee inspection of raw materials, in-process activities, and final products
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and third-party inspectors (TPI) during project execution
• Monitor and improve welding quality, NDT reports, material traceability, and project documentation
• Lead and train QA/QC engineers and site quality supervisors
• Analyse non-conformities and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
• Report quality metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in QA/QC within the PEB or Structural Steel industry
• Sound knowledge of welding procedures (WPS/PQR/WPQ), NDT techniques, paint/coating inspection, and steel codes (IS/ASTM/AISC)
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 QMS requirements and fabrication best practices
• Strong documentation, inspection, and reporting skills
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication abilities
• Willingness to travel to factory and project sites as needed

Preferred Certifications (not mandatory):

• CSWIP / AWS-CWI
• ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor
• NDT Level II (RT, UT, PT, MT)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹19, ₹66,536.35 per month
