Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and provision cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Implement and manage containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Develop, deploy, and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch) to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Automate routine tasks and operational workflows using scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, tools, configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of AWS services and a good understanding of other cloud platforms (Azure, GCP).
  • Perform and optimize SQL queries to support various operational needs and troubleshoot issues.
  • Provide support during odd hours as required, including participation in on-call rotations or escalations.
  • Show a strong willingness to learn and obtain certifications in Security Operations (SecOps) and contribute to improving infrastructure security.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in a DevOps, Cloud Engineer, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role.
  • Proficient in managing cloud infrastructure using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, etc.).
  • Solid experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong scripting skills using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
  • Working knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools.
  • Good understanding of SQL, with the ability to write and troubleshoot complex queries.
  • Experience working with AWS and exposure to other cloud platforms (Azure, GCP).
