Job Post: Creative Video Editor & Social Media Strategist

Are you a visual storyteller with a knack for viral content? We're hiring a talented Creative Video Editor & Social Media Strategist to join our team in IT Park, Dehradun This hybrid role is perfect for someone who can not only produce stunning video content but also understands how to make it perform across all major social platforms.

About the Role

This is a dynamic position where creativity meets strategy. You will be responsible for the end-to-end creation of video content—from raw footage to final edit, including engaging caption overlays—and developing the social media strategy to maximize its reach, engagement, and conversion.

Key Responsibilities

Video Editing & Content Creation

  • Edit raw video footage into highly engaging, short-form and long-form content optimized for platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.
  • Expertly integrate captions and text overlays to maximize viewing accessibility and retention (a strong eye for kinetic typography is a plus).
  • Input music, graphics, special effects, and animations to enhance storytelling and brand identity.
  • Ensure all videos maintain high production quality and brand consistency.

Social Media Strategy & Management

  • Develop, implement, and manage our comprehensive social media content strategy across all relevant platforms.
  • Understand current social media trends, algorithms, and best practices to continuously optimize content performance.
  • Write compelling, on-brand copy for all social media posts.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on key social media performance metrics (engagement, reach, CTR, etc.) to inform future strategy.
  • Engage with our online community to build relationships and foster brand loyalty.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • High proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro is preferred) and design tools like Adobe After Effects or similar.
  • Demonstrable creative eye for viral and highly shareable content.
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms' native editing tools and content performance metrics.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to Dehradun, Uttarakhand, to work from our IT Park office.
