Billing Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Estimating the quantity of different works as per drawings.
  • Checking the quantities claimed by the contractor.
  • Preparing variation statement.
  • Taking care of daily progress work comparing the quantities planned.
  • Correction rectification of drawings generate RFIs for the concerned to be executed consultants for the same.
  • Preparation of bill of quantities (BOQ).
  • Verification and Approval of bills of contractors.
  • Inventory management and reconciliation of the same.
  • MIS reporting - daily, weekly & monthly reports etc.
  • Preparing bill as per work execution at site on daily/weekly/Monthly basis.
  • Preparation of the bills of sub-contractors, internal bills.
  • Prepare the monthly running bills abstract as per the measurements taken in comparison with the Client Purchase Orders/BOQ.
  • Preparing Sub-contractor's bills, Preparing Client Bill as per the Contract conditions & Specifications.
  • Preparing & analyzing Reconciliation Statement Materials & Sub-contractors.
  • Verification of the External agencies bills prepared by the Site engineers and Supervisors.
  • Verification of extra items, rate analysis.
  • Checking of BBS and consistently carrying out reconciliation of reinforcement at site.
  • Safety Quality
  • For certificate of bills get updates from Project Managers/Quality Engineers for quality.
  • To measure (if required take inputs from concerned PM/APM/Engineer) and obtained quality records from the concerned staff for certifying contractor's bills.
  • To assist the PM and APM for the area of the site work allotted to him.
  • On-going job being executed at site to be cross checked with drawings.
  • Tracking Implementation of micro schedule.
  • Assist PM for any requirement regarding bill quantity, measurement verification for the area of the site work allotted to him.
  • External Works when allotted.
  • Advance planning of works for area of site work allotted to him.
  • To sort out contractor's problem related to site, Billing Payment.
  • Get the certification for Pre-final bills and send the certified copy to Contractors for approval.
  • Submit and get the final certification from the Client/Contractor for the Final bill.
  • Submit Monthly Statement to the HO. regarding Bill amount Claimed & amount Certified.
  • To follow up on the accounts department for payment.
  • Should be able to interact with client independently.
  • Billing follow up for payments.
