Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Quality Assurance team, ensuring skill development and effective performance.
  • Conduct regular quality audits, inspections, and compliance checks as per QMS and IATF16949 standards.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to resolve quality issues effectively.
  • Analyze quality data, prepare reports, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance systems, processes, and product quality.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and other relevant standards and regulations.
  • Support external audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections.
  • Establish and monitor quality KPIs to achieve organizational quality goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
  • 7 – 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Certification in Quality Management (Six Sigma, IATF16949, Lean, etc.) preferred.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, QMS, and quality control techniques.

Skills Required

  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and quality tools (SPC, MSA, FMEA, 7QC Tools, Root Cause Analysis).
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and techniques.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and team management capabilities.
  • Effective communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
