As a Staff Engineer – Python / Test Automation Lead, you will be responsible for the quality delivery of our R&D Data Platform and R&D Data Lake.

Job Description
In your new role you will:

  • Design and develop automated test scripts for our applications.
  • Design and develop client libraries, CLIs and python utilities for our applications.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless integration of automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Continuously improve test automation frameworks and tools.
  • Ensure test coverage for new features and regression testing.
  • Engage with user community to understand the automation and utilities needs for our application.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • 6 - 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience implementing Python based Test automation framework.
  • Proven experience implementing Load Test solutions.
  • Proven experience implementing Python packages and utilities.
  • Proven experience with integrating automated test with release process of cloud native application.
  • Basic experience with cloud technologies like, OpenShift, Docker, Serverless, etc.
  • Basic experience with big data solutions like Elastic.
  • Basic experience with Analytical and Reporting solutions like Tableau, Grafana etc.
