L2 Level IT Hardware Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and proactive L2 IT Engineer to provide advanced technical support and ensure smooth IT operations across systems, networks, and applications. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting abilities, hands-on experience in managing user issues, and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams and vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide Level 2 technical support for desktops, laptops, servers, networks, and IT applications.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and network issues escalated from Level 1 support.
Manage and monitor Active Directory, user accounts, and access permissions.
Support and maintain LAN/WAN connectivity, switches, routers, and firewalls.
Install, configure, and update operating systems, applications, and antivirus software.
Handle system backups, patch management, and security compliance activities.
Coordinate with vendors for hardware replacement, warranty, and AMC-related tasks.
Maintain documentation for IT assets, issue logs, and system configurations.
Provide remote support for branch locations as needed.
Assist in IT infrastructure upgrade projects and ensure minimal downtime.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in IT support, preferably as an L2 Engineer.
Strong knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office 365, Active Directory, and Network Fundamentals.
Experience in troubleshooting LAN/WAN, VPN, printers, and email issues.
Familiarity with ticketing tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, Freshdesk).
Knowledge of server and backup management tools will be an added advantage.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
