Role & responsibilities
A. Self-Sourced Investment Sales
- Directly source and manage a portfolio of investment clients through personal networks, referrals, and lead funnels.
- Conduct comprehensive financial assessments, risk profiling, and product suitability analysis.
- Achieve defined monthly and quarterly investment sales targets across categories (equity, debt, hybrid).
- Maintain strong after-sales service and proactive client engagement to drive long-term retention and upselling
B. Dealer Support & Assisted Sales
- Partner with broking dealers to identify clients with investment potential.
- Conduct joint client meetings to assist in need discovery, presentation of investment solutions, and closure
- Help dealers structure investment pitches and provide technical support on product features, performance, and benefits
- Track and report conversion rates, revenue contribution, and share of wallet expansion from assisted cases.
C. Dealer Training & Development
- Organize regular in-branch and virtual training programs covering:
- Product knowledge (MF, PMS, Bonds etc.)
- Sales skill enhancement (prospecting, objection handling, closing techniques)
- Market updates and tactical ideas
- Develop easy-to-use sales pitches and FAQs for effective client closures.
- Mentor and coach assigned dealers via field visits and feedback sessions.
Preferred candidate profile
- 5-8 years in mutual fund sales, wealth advisory, or investment product distribution
- NISM-Series V-A (Mutual Fund) and NISM XXI-A (PMS Distribution) Mandatory
- Investment advisory, sales negotiation, training, MIS reporting, stakeholder management
