Job Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Trichy
Salary Range: ₹30,000 – ₹40,000 per month

Position Overview

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing the organization's end-to-end financial operations, including bookkeeping, compliance, taxation, and reporting. This role demands a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical and organizational skills who can ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data while providing valuable insights for business decision-making.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain day-to-day accounting operations using Tally ERP.

  • Prepare and file GST returns, TDS, IT returns, PF, and ESI within statutory timelines.

  • Generate E-Way Bills and manage export/import documentation.

  • Oversee internal audits, coordinate with statutory auditors, and ensure timely year-end closures.

  • Prepare comprehensive financial statements including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Reports.

  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate reconciliations and compliance.

  • Support management with cost control, budgeting, and financial forecasting.

  • Ensure compliance with Income Tax, GST, and other regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain confidentiality of financial data and uphold ethical accounting standards.

Qualifications Required

  • B.Com / M.Com / CA (Preferred)

  • Combination of B.Com or M.Com with CA / Pursuing CA (Final/Inter) will be considered.

  • Minimum 5 years of full-time experience in accounting, audit, or financial management.

  • Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP, GST Portal, and e-Filing systems.

Skills Required

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (especially Tally ERP).

  • In-depth understanding of GST, TDS, and financial compliance.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.

  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.
