As a small and growing team, we work closely across design, development, and production. Every role at Lila is hands-on, collaborative, and deeply involved in the making process.

About the Role

As a Furniture Designer at Lila, you'll be involved across the design and development journey — from research and creating concepts to detailing, coordination, and production support. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, responsible, self-motivated, and excited to be part of a small studio where no two days look the same.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in furniture and product design development from concept to production

Support research, design concepts, mood boards, and client presentations

Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings when required

Help with documentation, specifications, and design revisions

Coordinate with vendors and production units to ensure design intent is executed accurately

Support sampling, prototyping, and basic production follow-ups

Requirements

2-4 years of experience in furniture or product design

Formal education in Product Design / Industrial Design or a related field

Proficiency in Fusion 360, Adobe Suite, and Google Suite

Basic understanding of woodworking, joinery, and furniture manufacturing processes

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks

Comfortable working in a small team and taking ownership of work

Bonus / Nice to Have

Good graphic sensibility and attention to visual detail

Ability to communicate ideas clearly through drawings and presentations
