We're strengthening our product management presence in India to provide stronger local support for technology and development — and specifically to have a Product Manager onsite to own and drive our scam protection portfolio forward.
We're now looking for a Director, Product Management - Scam Protection Portfolio to join our Bengaluru office, focusing on the SCAM XM (Experience Module) — the implementation engine powering our world-leading scam protection solutions. This role is part of our global product management team, collaborating closely with colleagues across research, engineering, and partner organizations worldwide. Your work will directly shape how we protect millions of people from scams — one of the fastest-growing and most harmful digital threats of our time.
What you will do in this role:
- Strategic Leadership & Portfolio Management: Lead the strategic direction, development, and lifecycle management of the scam protection product portfolio. Accountable for P&L performance and market success across all dimensions including pricing strategy, go-to-market execution, distribution channels, and service excellence. Drive portfolio optimization decisions that balance innovation, market opportunity, and resource allocation.
- Vision & Stakeholder Alignment: Partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to define long-term product vision and multi-year roadmaps aligned with company objectives. Synthesize market intelligence, competitive dynamics, and customer insights to establish strategic priorities. Lead organizational alignment on product strategy and secure executive buy-in for major initiatives and investment decisions.
- Market Intelligence & Competitive Strategy: Own the competitive intelligence function for the scam protection domain. Direct market research initiatives, competitive analysis, and customer feedback programs that inform strategic positioning and product differentiation. Translate market insights into actionable strategies that drive sustainable competitive advantage and market share growth.
- Product Portfolio Vision: Define and champion the overarching vision for the scam protection product portfolio, ensuring alignment with evolving threat landscapes, regulatory requirements, and long-term market opportunities. Drive thought leadership both internally and externally on scam protection innovation.
- Commercial Excellence & Performance: Establish and drive P&L targets for the scam protection portfolio. Lead initiatives spanning cost optimization, revenue growth, pricing strategy, and operational efficiency. Define success metrics and accountability frameworks. Present portfolio performance, market opportunity assessments, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board stakeholders.
- Team Virtual Leadership: Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing product management organization. Foster a culture of data-driven decision making, customer obsession, and strategic thinking.
What are we looking for?
We're looking for a product leader who thrives at the intersection of execution and strategy — someone who can translate vision into tangible results and enjoys seeing features turn into meaningful protection for real users.
- 20+ years in product management, leading product areas or modules end-to-end.
- Proven experience in consumer software, especially mobile (iOS and Android) and cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with AI and ML technologies and their practical applications in consumer products.
- Background in cybersecurity or strong understanding of digital threat landscapes.
- Strong analytical mindset and experience using data to drive decisions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across distributed teams.
- Ability to plan and execute strategy with a medium-term –3 year) impact horizon.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Hands-on familiarity with tools such as Jira, GitHub, and AI productivity tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot).
- A delivery-focused approach: you excel at turning ideas into shipped features while ensuring the long-term roadmap stays aligned with global priorities.
