Job Overview: Director of Product Management

We're seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Product Management to lead multiple

product streams within Locus' enterprise logistics SaaS platform. You'll own the vision,

roadmap, and execution for critical modules — driving measurable impact across strategy,

delivery, adoption, and customer growth. You'll work cross-functionally with engineering, design,

solutions, customer success, and go-to-market teams, while scaling and mentoring a

high-performing team of product managers.

This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology,

strategy, and execution in a fast-scaling SaaS environment.

What You'll Own

Strategic Ownership

● Define and own the product vision and multi-year roadmap for your portfolio of product

streams within Locus.

● Translate company strategy into product goals, metrics, OKRs, and execution plans

aligned with our modular, AI-native platform.

● Collaborate with the leadership team to ensure roadmap coherence across modules and

alignment to overall business objectives.

● Lead market, competitive, and customer research to inform prioritization, evaluate

opportunities, and guide innovation.

Execution & Delivery Excellence

● Lead the full product lifecycle — from discovery and ideation through launch, adoption,

and continuous improvement.

● Drive alignment and execution across multiple product teams and engineering squads.

● Establish and track delivery KPIs such as predictability, quality, reliability, and

Time-to-value.

Market & Customer Impact

● Engage directly with enterprise customers to validate needs, gather feedback, and

represent Locus as a thought partner.

● Define and monitor analytics across usage, adoption, retention, and ROI to measure

success.

● Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success on pricing, packaging, launch

readiness, and go-to-market execution.

● Support enterprise deals, product adoption, and expansion initiatives while championing

a customer-first, data-driven mindset.

Team Leadership & Culture

● Build, mentor, and scale a team of 5–8 product managers and related roles.

Establish frameworks for coaching, performance feedback, and career progression.

● Foster a high-performance, customer-obsessed, data-informed product culture.

● Lead hiring, onboarding, and cross-functional collaboration across teams.

Success Metrics

You'll be measured by the outcomes your portfolio delivers, including:

● Customer & Business Impact: Growth in adoption, retention, and revenue influence

across product streams.

● Execution Excellence: Predictable delivery, high release quality, and measurable

reliability improvements.

● Operational Efficiency: Reduced time-to-market and stronger alignment across teams.

● Customer Value: Improved satisfaction, activation, and time-to-value through superior

product experiences.

What We're Looking For

● 8-10+ years of Product Management experience, including at least 4+ years leading an

enterprise SaaS product portfolio.

● Proven success managing multiple product streams, owning end-to-end lifecycle, and

prioritizing across dependencies.

● Deep domain knowledge in logistics, transportation, or supply-chain technology (TMS,

WMS, visibility, orchestration) is strongly preferred.

● Strong technical fluency in SaaS architectures, APIs, integrations, analytics

instrumentation, AI/ML workflows, and multi-tenant platforms.

● Leadership experience in building and mentoring product teams in high-growth, matrixed

environments.

● Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills — able to articulate

vision, influence across exec, tech, and customer levels.

Why Join Us

● Shape the future of logistics technology at a global scale.

● Lead a mission-critical product portfolio driving AI-native transformation.

● Work with passionate innovators redefining how enterprises orchestrate logistics.

● Be part of a culture that values innovation, ownership, and measurable outcomes.

At Locus, we move fast, think globally, and obsess over customer success.
