About the Role:

We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Engineer Intern Cum Full-time Job to manage and scale our server infrastructure, mail systems, domains, and AWS cloud environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in system administration, cloud technologies, and IT security best practices.

What We Offer:

  • Monthly stipend: ₹12,000 - ₹15,000
  • On-site work location in Bangalore
  • Opportunity for full-time conversion after 6 months based on performance

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain mail servers (setup, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting).
  • Handle domain management – DNS records, SSL/TLS certificates, and domain restrictions for web portals.
  • Administer and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, IAM, S3, Route53, VPC, Security Groups).
  • Perform Linux server administration including monitoring, patching, and performance optimization.
  • Implement email security protocols such as SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
  • Ensure infrastructure security and compliance with best practices.
  • Automate routine tasks using scripting (Bash/Python) and configuration management tools.
  • Work closely with development and product teams to support deployments and integrations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • 0.5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or system administration roles.
  • Strong experience with Linux server administration.
  • Hands-on with mail servers (Postfix, Exim, Sendmail, or AWS SES).
  • Proficiency in DNS, domain registrars, and SSL/TLS certificate management.
  • Solid knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, Route53, IAM, VPC).
  • Familiar with firewalls, VPNs, and network security.
  • Scripting ability in Python.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have:

  • Experience with DevOps practices (CI/CD, infrastructure as code).
  • Exposure to Docker/Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools (Nagios, Prometheus, CloudWatch, etc.).
