Store Manager

Position Overview:

The role is responsible for managing end-to-end store and facility operations, inventory control,

ERP implementation, and logistics coordination, with a strong focus on compliance with statutory

and environmental norms. The position requires cross-functional coordination with Production,

R&D, Logistics, Accounts, and Compliance teams to ensure smooth operations, accurate

reporting, and regulatory adherence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Store Management, Facility Management & MIS Reporting

 Oversee day-to-day store operations, ensuring accuracy in stock levels and timely

inward/outward entries.

 Prepare and maintain store-related MIS reports for management reviews and decision-

making.

 Ensure compliance with storage norms, housekeeping, safety, fire, and environmental

standards.

 Drive initiatives for space utilization, energy efficiency, and employee satisfaction with

facility services.

 Support the R&D team with material handling, data tracking, and inventory for

experimental/pilot batches.

 Provide operational feedback for continuous process improvements.

1. ERP Implementation & Process Digitization

 Lead and support ERP implementation to streamline inventory, operations, and

compliance processes.

 Ensure accurate data migration, process mapping, and adoption during ERP onboarding.

1. Inventory Management & Physical Stock Audits

 Conduct weekly/monthly stock verification across Spoke, P-Hub, and Pre-Processing

Units.

 Reconcile physical stock with ERP/system records and highlight discrepancies.

 Audit material movement, usage, and documentation with focus on traceability.

 Liaise with Production, Logistics, Accounts, and Purchase for issue resolution.

 Ensure robust audit procedures aligned with safety, quality, and control standards.

 Generate and circulate daily/weekly/monthly audit reports with actionable insights.

1. Battery Movement, Export & Logistics Coordination

 Ensure 100% batch-wise traceability of batteries/materials with real-time ERP entries.

 Coordinate logistics for domestic and export shipments, ensuring compliance with

packaging, labelling, and regulatory norms.

 Manage export documentation (invoices, packing lists, compliance declarations, e-way

bills, etc.).

 Liaise with customs, transporters, and export agents for timely shipments.

 Escalate and resolve discrepancies in documentation or stock movement within 24

hours.

1. KSPCB, EPR & CPCB Compliance

 Ensure 100% statutory compliance by timely submission of monthly/quarterly/annual

returns and renewals.

 Monitor and report air, water, and hazardous waste parameters through online systems

(CEMS/OCEMS).

 Maintain accurate records and ensure zero exceedances of environmental norms.

Key Skills & Competencies

 Strong knowledge of inventory management, ERP systems, and compliance

requirements.

 Excellent analytical, documentation, and audit skills.

 Familiarity with KSPCB, CPCB, and EPR compliance norms.

 Strong coordination and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

 Ability to work under strict timelines with zero tolerance for non-compliance.

Qualifications & Experience

 Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or related

field.

 8–10 years of experience in store/inventory management, ERP systems, and

compliance handling.

 Prior exposure to battery/chemical/recycling/engineering industry preferred.
