You will not be just another backend person pushing POs. You will be the
nerve center of cost intelligence
for WhiteShark Energy. Your work will directly influence our ability to
bid better, win faster, and deliver smarter.
What You'll Own
BoM-Wise Project Costing
- Build project-wise cost sheets based on engineering designs and bills of materials.
- Maintain a dynamic pricing dashboard—updated daily—for all frequently used items.
- Feed real-time rates into the bidding process for razor-sharp pricing.
Vendor Mapping & Sourcing
- Create and maintain a master database of reliable vendors—item-wise, region-wise, and category-wise.
- Explore procurement not just locally, but across India and internationally (as we scale imports).
- Understand freight, lead time, and logistics implications.
Negotiation & Cost Control
- Negotiate rates with suppliers project-wise and batch-wise to get best-in-market deals.
- Lock in strategic rates or bulk deals where possible, while remaining agile for L1-driven projects.
Collaboration & Accountability
- Coordinate with the design, project execution, and tendering teams for seamless handoffs.
- Keep a sharp eye on changing market trends, price fluctuations, and upcoming technologies.
- Raise flags early when pricing volatility threatens profitability.
