Job Title: Sales Representative Hollow Metal Doors

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Sales Representative to join our team, specializing in hollow metal doors and frames. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new sales opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and providing technical product knowledge to customers in the construction, architectural, and commercial building industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with general contractors, architects, project managers, and building owners.
  • Promote and sell hollow metal doors, frames, and related hardware to commercial and industrial clients.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, bids, and quotes based on project specifications and drawings.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, door schedules, and architectural plans to recommend appropriate products.
  • Work closely with the estimating and production teams to ensure accurate orders and timely deliveries.
  • Monitor project timelines and coordinate with internal departments to meet deadlines and client expectations.
  • Attend job site meetings and provide on-site product knowledge or problem-solving support when required.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, building codes, and competitors offerings.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the building materials or construction products industry.
  • Knowledge of hollow metal doors, frames, and architectural hardware is highly preferred.
  • Ability to read construction documents (blueprints, specs, etc.).
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM software is a plus.
  • Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to job sites or client locations as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of sales experience in the commercial door or construction industry.
