Munters India/Zeco is looking for a highly skilled and experienced
Tax & Accounts Manager
to join our Finance team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance, accurate reporting, and financial integrity across our India entities.

About the Role

The
Tax & Accounts Manager
will primarily drive all
Direct & Indirect Taxation activities
covering Income Tax, GST, Transfer Pricing, and other statutory compliances for India.

You will also be responsible for
Accounting functions
, overseeing financial reporting, audits, and management accounting for
Munters India and Zeco
.

Key Responsibilities
Tax (Primary)

  • Ensure full compliance with government and tax reporting requirements.
  • Lead GST, TDS, Income Tax, Deferred Tax, and Transfer Pricing reporting under Indian tax laws.
  • Manage quarterly tax reporting for Group.
  • Ensure adherence to Munters Financial Manual and corporate policies.
  • Handle internal & external tax audits with zero material findings.
  • Oversee transfer pricing audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Develop tax-efficient strategies to optimize tax liabilities.
  • Monitor changes in tax laws and evaluate their business impact.

Management Accounting

  • Lead and mentor the local accounting team.
  • Oversee general accounting, financial statements, reporting activities.
  • Ensure accurate and complete financial statements (BS, P&L, Cash Flow, Equity).
  • Coordinate GST statutory audits, tax audits, and timely filing of returns.
  • Work closely with the Head of Finance & Group Finance for internal reporting.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent.
  • 8–10 years of post-qualification experience in Direct & Indirect Taxation.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian tax laws, GST, Income Tax Act & Transfer Pricing.
  • Experience with ERP implementation and finance/tax process mapping.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
