Job Title: Company Secretary (CS)

Location: Salt Lake, Sector-V, Kolkata

Salary Range: ₹50,000 – ₹70,000 per month

Experience Required: Minimum 4 Years

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Company Secretary (CS) to join our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring statutory compliance, corporate governance, and legal matters of the company. The role demands strong knowledge of company law, secretarial practices, and regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with Companies Act, 2013 and other applicable laws.
  • Draft, prepare, and file statutory returns, forms, and documents with MCA, ROC, SEBI, RBI, etc.
  • Organize, convene, and record Board Meetings, Committee Meetings, and Annual General Meetings (AGMs).
  • Prepare Board reports, minutes, resolutions, and statutory registers.
  • Advise the management on corporate governance practices and legal obligations.
  • Coordinate with regulators, auditors, legal counsels, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely compliance with filings such as annual returns, XBRL, and event-based compliances.
  • Support in drafting and vetting of agreements, contracts, and legal documents.
  • Maintain and update corporate records and ensure best secretarial practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Qualified Company Secretary (CS) from ICSI.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of Corporate Laws, SEBI Regulations, FEMA, and Taxation.
  • Strong drafting, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments and work under deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and compliance-related software/tools.

Preferred:

  • Experience in working with listed/unlisted companies.
  • Strong understanding of corporate governance frameworks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50, ₹70,000.00 per month
