IT Operations Executive

Job Summary: We're seeking a proactive and organized IT Operations Executive to manage the company's end-to-end IT infrastructure, assets, user accounts, and cloud-based tools. The role also includes ensuring reliable connectivity, enforcing IT and data security policies, and maintaining compliance across systems and services.

Key Responsibilities

1. Asset & Account Management

• Oversee IT inventory including laptops, mobile and Alexa devices, and accessories (rented or owned).
• Manage user accounts and licenses across Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, HRMS, Figma, LLMs, Git, and other platforms.
• Provision, update, and deactivate user accounts with appropriate access controls and permissions.

2. Network & Internet Management

• Manage and monitor the company's LAN/Wi-Fi networks and internet connectivity to ensure uptime and performance.
• Coordinate with ISPs and vendors for installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of network infrastructure.
• Maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN access for secure remote connectivity.

3. Information & Data Security

• Implement and enforce security guardrails on all company devices — antivirus, encryption, access policies, and patch management.
• Define and apply policies for data security, password management, and acceptable use of IT resources.
• Support implementation of security standards like MFA, least-privilege access, and secure file-sharing practices.
• Maintain logs and ensure timely renewal of security certificates, endpoint protection, and other compliance tools.

4. Payments, Renewals & Vendor Coordination

• Track billing cycles, process renewals, and ensure timely vendor payments.
• Manage vendor relationships, handle basic contract negotiations, and coordinate procurement of IT assets or services.

5. General IT Operations

• Provide first-level IT support and troubleshooting to internal teams.
• Document and maintain updated records of IT assets, credentials, licenses, network diagrams, and vendor contracts.
• Support audits and compliance reporting related to IT systems and information security.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3–4 years of experience managing IT systems, networks, and SaaS tools.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, and endpoint security tools.
• Strong understanding of network fundamentals, access control, and data security principles.
• Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualities

• Experience with scripting or automation tools (PowerShell, Bash) is a plus.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, or cloud fundamentals (Azure/AWS) are desirable.
• Self-driven, resourceful, and capable of managing IT operations with minimal supervision.
