Job Description: Senior Category Manager - Chemist Box Private LimitedAbout Chemist Box Private Limited: Chemist BoxPrivate Limited, a prominent multi -outlet retail pharmacy chain in Bihar, With14 -15 physical stores with massive expansion plan.Position: Senior CategoryManager.Location: Patna, Bihar JobSummary: We arelooking for a Senior Category Manager to manage a groupor non -medicine category of products for our company. You will be the oneresponsible for the pricing and overall promotion of a product category tomaximize consumer appeal. Relationships with vendors and product rangemanagement will also be part of your duties.Anexcellent category manager must have extensive experience in understandingconsumer needs and the retail environment. They must have a commercial mindsetand full comprehension of marketing and sales principles. Exceptionalcommunication skills are also key for category managers.Thegoal is to increase sales and profitability of non -medicine businesses to drivesustainable growth.Responsibilities:1. Category Management - Own end -to -end responsibility of Category Management across F&B space,including creating the vision for the category, planning and execution - Identifying and develop Target Sector, Target Customer, Category Outline,Products & Brands, Differentiation Strategies and promoting Innovation tokeep the category relevant and refreshed. - Competition and alternate channels mapping: Sorting & identifying thefast moving product thus increasing the sales. - Develop and Own Monthly Category Analysis Report. - Overall responsibility is to optimize sales along with accountability ofPricing, Promotion, Margin & Inventory Control. 2. Merchandising - Develop and implement placement and planogram strategies that improvecategory turnover. - Plan and develop merchandising strategies - Analyse sales figures & anticipate product needs and plan productranges/stock - Collaborate with buyers for timely & quality supplies - Produce layout plans for sales and merchandise planning - Forecast profits/sales and plan budgets (OTB) - Monitor stock movement to machines and sales 3. New Product Development - Create Product Strategy in line with Business Plan and backed with strongCustomer & Market insights and Need Gap Analysis to create Customer as wellas Enterprise Value - Create strong funnel for new product development and incremental improvements - Work collaboratively with cross -functional team including Sales & BD,Operations, Products & Solutions, Procurement, and Finance to develop andimplement product strategies seamlessly. Branding (Static & Digital) - Responsible for growing Branding Business Line for Vendiman. - Responsible for Creating strong funnel of prospects and brand relationshipsfor maximising our branding space and branding revenue; both static andDigital. - Develop & implement solutions in close collaboration withcross -functional teams and prospects Manage Promotion Develop and implement promotional plans that bring excitement among consumers and incremental sales. 4. Customer Complaints - Gain insights into Customer feedback to provide solutions and take quickcorrective actions where needed. 5. Vendor Management - Vendor Evaluation, Selection and Commercial Negotiations for Price, Margins,Credit Terms, Delivery lead time, Returns, Stock Management, Product Qualityand Overall Service - Establish collaborative retailer/supplier relationships to maximizeincome/terms/discounts & improve sales and profitability of category. - Conduct business review with vendors to achieve mutual profitable goals. RequirementsRequirements and skills: -5 -7 years of quality experience in Category Management, preferably in FMCG,F&B space. -Have good exposure to managing end -to -end lifecycle of new product development. - Consumer Centricity and Growth & Entrepreneurial Mindset - Commercial Awareness and familiarity with Market Research, Competition andAnalytics. - Derive insights from Market as well as Data and use the same for ProductDevelopment, Improvements and Iterations - Ability to Multi -Task and Prioritize - Ability to collaborate - Hand -on approach, result focus and Go -getter - Self -starter and Innovation - Eye to Detailing - Curiosity & Creativity - Numerical & Analytical Ability - Excellent verbal and written communications skills - Strong listening, presentation and decision -making skills BenefitsSalary: 8 lacs to 10 lacs
