Job Title: Sales Executive Specialty Chemicals / Personal Care Ingredients

Department: Sales & Marketing

Reporting to: Sales Manager

Job Purpose:

To achieve sales targets by promoting and selling Kumar Organic Products' range of specialty chemicals and personal care ingredients to customers in assigned regions. The role involves developing new business, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction through technical and commercial support.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as assigned.
  • Identify and develop new customers in personal care, cosmetics, pharma, and allied industries.
  • Promote the company's product range, new launches, and formulations to potential and existing customers.
  • Conduct regular customer visits to understand requirements and provide suitable product recommendations.
  • Generate and follow up on sales leads, inquiries, and quotations.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts in line with company policies.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Maintain strong relationships with formulators, R&D heads, procurement, and purchase teams of key accounts.
  • Provide technical support in coordination with the R&D / application lab team.
  • Handle customer feedback, complaints, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Maintain updated customer databases and sales reports.

Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Gather market information on competitors, pricing trends, and new product developments.
  • Identify emerging market opportunities and suggest new business strategies.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports and update CRM tools.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for order processing, logistics, and credit control.

Internal Coordination

  • Work closely with R&D, Technical, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
  • Support participation in trade shows, exhibitions, and seminars to promote products.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of specialty chemicals, personal care, or cosmetic ingredient markets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Technical aptitude to understand product formulations and applications.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and target-oriented approach.
  • Ability to manage client relationships and deliver business growth.

Qualifications:

  • B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
  • MBA in Marketing (preferred but not mandatory).

Experience:

  • 2–5 years of experience in B2B sales of specialty chemicals, cosmetic ingredients, or related industries.
  • Fresh candidates with strong technical and communication skills may be considered for trainee roles.
