Senior Manager

Purpose/Objective

Senior Manager - Design is responsible for executing key design tasks and managing team efforts to ensure the successful completion of design components.

This role involves supporting senior architects by creating detailed architectural designs, conducting site analyses, and coordinating with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities of Role: Execution of Architectural Designs: Manage the execution of design tasks, including creating and updating architectural drawings and models.

Implement revisions and modifications based on feedback from design reviews, stakeholder inputs and changes in project scope.

Coordinate with team members to ensure timely completion of design components and adherence to project deadlines.

Site Inspection and Construction Support: Conduct site inspections including surveys and assessments to support design development and document findings for discussion with seniors.

Ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation of site conditions and design requirements.

Integrate site analysis findings into design plans and models.

Stakeholder Management: Act as a point of contact between the design team and other project stakeholders to address design-related queries and provide updates.

Assist in organizing and facilitating meetings to communicate design progress and gather feedback.

Collect and incorporate feedback from stakeholders into design work to ensure alignment with project goals and requirements.

Project Documentation and Compliance: Support the preparation of design reports, presentations, and other project documentation for internal and external review.

Ensure that all project documentation is up-to-date, organized, and accurately reflects current status of the project.

Ensure that all project documentation complies with project standards, regulatory requirements and organizational guidelines.

Risk Assessment and Management: Assist in identifying potential risks related to design and construction processes, including safety, environmental impacts, and operational disruptions.

Support the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies to address and manage identified risks effectively.

Feasibility Study and Analysis: Participate in feasibility studies to evaluate the viability of design proposals, focusing on technical specifications, cost implications, and potential risks.

Analyze study results and assist in refining design plans to ensure they are practical, cost-effective, and aligned with airport development goals.

Qualifications and Experience

Education Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Urban Design, or a related field is required.

Work Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in architectural design, preferably with exposure to city-side or large-scale development projects.
