Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Development Manager with 10+ years of proven expertise in revenue growth, market expansion, and securing high-value deals. This is an on-site leadership position based in Kolkata, offering the opportunity to work closely with the Vice President – Business Development to drive strategic growth initiatives across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and close new business opportunities across domestic and international markets.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, investors, and strategic partners.
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve annual growth targets of 15–20%.
  • Secure high-value contracts worth ₹50+ crore annually through strategic partnerships and negotiations.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, assess competition, and recommend actionable growth strategies.
  • Prepare compelling business proposals, investment presentations, and negotiation strategies.
  • Represent the company at industry events, investment forums, and high-level networking platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.

Qualifications & Skills

  • MBA in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (mandatory).
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in business development, strategic partnerships, and corporate sales.
  • Strong track record in high-value deal closures and achieving ambitious revenue goals.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Industry experience in venture capital, investment management, technology, construction, or real estate preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally for business meetings and partnerships.
