Roles & Responsibilities - Assistant Manager of Project Execution

  1. Manage and assign tasks to the site engineer.

  2. Verify the expense sheet of the site engineer.

  3. Manage the workload of the site engineer.Decide on the InC team for the project.

  4. Create work orders for the InC team.

  5. ⁠Provide handover to the client after the project is completed.

  6. ⁠Conduct on-site meetings and technical discussions with clients.

  7. Schedule activities and work to be done on-site as per the timeline of the project.

  8. Manage work activities on multiple sites.

  9. ⁠Track project timelines and take necessary actions to ensure timely completion.

  10. Follow up with the customer regarding payments.

11. Handover the project to the customer.

12. Initiate and manage the net metering application process.

  1. Prepare documentation required for net metering.

14. Follow up with DISCOM for net metering and resolve any issues.

  1. Resolve errors in the first solar bill with DISCOM if any.

  2. Supervise material verification at the site.

  3. Handle payments to be made to the InC team.

  4. ⁠Prepare technical drawings of the project

  5. ⁠Handle holidays and compensatory offs of the site engineer.

Qualifications

This role demands an individual with a B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering and 2–4 years of hands-on Project Execution experience in the Solar PV/Renewable Energy sector.

  1. Mandatory Net Metering Management:
    Full ownership and hands-on experience managing the entire Net Metering process, from application submission and follow-up to technical resolution with the DISCOM/Utility.
  2. Technical Acumen:
    Deep knowledge of Solar PV system design, components, and installation standards. Must be proficient in reading technical drawings and managing on-site material verification.
  3. Leadership & Delivery:
    Proven ability to lead site teams (engineers, contractors), manage task assignment, handle payments/expenses, and maintain a track record of successfully managing multiple project timelines for on-time delivery.
  4. Communication:
    Strong skills for technical client discussions and professional follow-up on customer payments.
