Role & responsibilities

  • Develop and implement data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Migrate data from Oracle to Azure Data Lake.
  • Optimize data processing workflows for performance and scalability.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with data architects and other team members to design and implement data solutions.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Strong experience with Azure Data Services, including Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Databricks.
  • Proficiency in data transformation and ETL processes.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle to Azure Data Lake migrations is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Optimize performance and cost efficiency for Databricks clusters, data pipelines, and storage systems
  • Monitor and manage cloud resources to ensure high availability, performance and scalability
  • Prepare architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and runbooks for the deployed solutions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Azure Data Engineer Associate certification.
  • Databricks Certification.
  • Understanding of ODI, ODS, OAS is a plus.
