Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced SAP Datasphere Consultant to join our data and analytics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing data integration and modeling solutions using SAP Datasphere (formerly SAP Data Warehouse Cloud). You will collaborate with business users and technical teams to build end-to-end data solutions that support reporting, analytics, and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data models and semantic layers within SAP Datasphere.
  • Build and manage data pipelines from SAP and non-SAP sources using SAP Datasphere integration capabilities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into data models and visualizations.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across different systems and reports.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data flows and queries.
  • Work closely with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP BW/4HANA, and other connected platforms.
  • Provide guidance and support to users and developers on SAP Datasphere best practices.

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience in SAP Datasphere / SAP Data Warehouse Cloud (DWC).
  • Hands-on experience with data modeling, semantic modeling, and data integration in SAP Datasphere.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data transformation logic.
  • Experience integrating data from SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, SAP HANA, and third-party systems.
  • Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for reporting and dashboarding.
  • Understanding of data governance, lineage, and security concepts.

Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure to SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform)
  • Knowledge of Cloud Connector, ODATA, REST APIs
  • Experience with tools like SAP Data Intelligence or SAP HANA Smart Data Integration (SDI)
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology and DevOps for data projects
