Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ledgers.
  • Import–Export Accounting:
  • Manage documentation such as Bill of Entry, Shipping Bill, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB.
  • Handle custom duty calculations, GST refunds, LUT filing, and export incentives.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
  • Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger entries.
  • Ensure timely filing and compliance with GST, TDS, and other tax regulations.
  • Assist in budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting.
  • Prepare audit documentation and coordinate with internal and external auditors.
  • Handle day-to-day accounting functions including invoicing, vendor management, and payroll support.
  • Identify, reconcile, and resolve financial discrepancies.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to accounting standards and company policies.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA, and logistics partners for smooth shipment and clearance.
  • Record foreign currency transactions and manage exchange rate adjustments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
  • 1–5 years of experience in an accountant or similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books).
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of Indian taxation (GST, TDS, Income Tax) is essential.
  • Experience in Import–Export accounting & documentation is mandatory.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical ability.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • CA Inter / Articleship experience is a plus (optional).
