Role Overview:

The Chartered Accountant will be responsible for managing end-to-end finance, accounting, compliance, and audit functions for the diagnostics business unit. The role will ensure financial accuracy, statutory compliance, and support business decision-making through analysis and insights.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting & Financial Management

  • Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure accuracy of books of accounts.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Manage revenue recognition, expense provisioning, and cost allocation in line with accounting standards.
  • Coordinate with branches and collection centers for financial data consolidation.

2. Budgeting & MIS

  • Prepare annual budgets and monthly forecasts in coordination with business heads.
  • Analyze financial performance, variances, and profitability by region or business vertical.
  • Generate MIS reports and dashboards for management review.

3. Statutory Compliance & Audit

  • Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory requirements.
  • Liaise with statutory and internal auditors to ensure timely completion of audits.
  • Manage tax filings, assessments, and reconciliations.

4. Cost Control & Process Improvement

  • Track and control operating costs across labs and collection centers.
  • Identify process gaps and implement financial controls to minimize leakages.
  • Support automation and digitization initiatives within the finance function.

5. Business Partnering

  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and HR teams to provide financial insights.
  • Support pricing analysis, vendor negotiations, and capex evaluations.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives such as expansion, mergers, or new lab setups.
