Position Overview and Objective

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working with engineering and UX teams to decompose business needs into detailed technical requirements and ensure consistent value delivery.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties
Align product requirements with strategic objectives for Managed Risk, ensuring clarity and traceability from concept to delivery.

Author and maintain detailed functional and technical specifications for VM capabilities, including scanner integrations, asset classification, risk scoring, and remediation workflows.
Decompose high-level product goals into actionable development tasks and user stories, ensuring completeness and clarity.
Conduct competitive and technical research to inform roadmap decisions and differentiate Arctic Wolf's Managed Risk offering.
Support backlog grooming and sprint planning with a focus on technical feasibility and business value.
Key Skills

Experience working directly with engineers to translate business needs into technical designs and implementation plans.
Ability to write highly detailed functional and technical requirements, including edge cases, data flows, and integration points.

Comfortable working in agile environments and using backlog management tools.
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years in product management or technical product delivery roles, ideally in vulnerability management or endpoint/network security.
Engineering or technical background (e.g., Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering).
Experience with VM platforms such as Tenable, Rapid7, Qualys, or similar — with a clear understanding of their strengths and limitations.
Familiarity with integration patterns for ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira), SIEM/SOAR platforms, and asset management tools.
Prior experience contributing to or managing features such as:
