Job Description
The HR Executive supports the HR department in all operational and administrative functions. You will assist with recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, HR operations, and ensure compliance with school policies and labor regulations. You will act as a point of contact for staff queries and help drive HR initiatives to support staff engagement, retention, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Staffing
Collaborate with departmental heads to define job requirements.
- Source candidates via various channels (job portals, social media, referrals).
- Screen resumes, schedule and conduct preliminary interviews.
- Coordinate with selection panels, prepare offer letters, contracts.
Onboarding & Induction
Manage orientation programmes for new joiners.
- Ensure all joining formalities (documents, ID cards, system access etc.) are completed.
- Ensure smooth transition of new staff into the school.
Employee Records & Documentation
Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel records (both digital and physical).
- Manage attendance, leave records, staff data in HRIS (if applicable).
- Ensure confidentiality of HR records.
Payroll & Benefits Administration
Support payroll preparation, deductions, reimbursements.
- Assist in processing statutory requirements (Provident Fund, ESI, etc., if applicable).
- Help in administration of benefits—insurance, staff welfare, etc
