Job Opening: Chartered Accountant/Semi Qualified Chartered Accountant

1yrs to 4 years of experience in Auditing, having strong knowledge of Accounting Standards, Companies Act Compliances, and proficiency in accounting software.

Preferred Location: Navi Mumbai

Position: Assistant Manager / Manager - Accounting

Work Location: Panvel

Job Description

The Chartered Accountant will be responsible for managing accounting, financial reporting, auditing, and compliance functions while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage financial transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, and management presentations on a periodic basis.
  • Conduct thorough internal and statutory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Provide financial advice and strategic insights to management for effective decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with Companies Act, GST, and other statutory requirements.
  • Reconciliation of statutory dues with challans, returns, and books of accounts.
  • Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, Annual Returns) and conduct GST audits.
  • Perform vouching of income & expenses, ledger scrutiny, fixed assets verification, and physical inventory checks.
  • Support in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Monitor cash flow, fund management, and working capital requirements
  • Implement strong internal controls and ensure adherence to company policies.
  • Keep updated with changes in accounting principles, taxation, and corporate laws.
  • Mentor and guide junior accounting staff to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
