Department: Stores / Inventory Management

Reports To: Restaurant Manager / Operations Head

Job Summary :-

We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Store In charge to manage inventory, stock control, and purchase coordination at Chalukya Restaurant. The ideal candidate must have prior experience in a hospitality setup, strong organizaonal skills, and the ability to communicate effectively in the local language.

Key Responsibilities :-

  • Oversee day-to-day store operations, including receiving, stocking, and issuing of materials.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock levels, consumption, and replenishment requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and storage standards.
  • Monitor and control wastage, pilferage, and expiry of materials.
  • Coordinate with vendors and the purchase department for timely supply of goods.
  • Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly stock reports.
  • Support restaurant operations by ensuring timely availability of all required items.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.

Key Skills & Competencies :-

  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak the local language kannada (mandatory).
  • Knowledge of inventory control and hospitality store management practices.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Excel/Inventory software preferred).
  • Integrity, reliability, and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications & Experience :-

  • Graduate / Diploma preferred (not mandatory if experienced).
  • Male Candidate (requirement specific).
  • 1- 3 years of experience in store/inventory management within the hospitality/restaurant/hotel industry.
  • Prefered Bangalore candidates.
