We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant to support the Company Secretary in day-to-day corporate secretarial and administrative tasks. The role will involve assisting in the preparation of board and shareholders related communication and resolutions, meeting documents, maintaining records of statutory registers and corporate records, coordinating signatures, tracking deadlines, and following up with internal teams and external support teams to ensure timely completion of corporate actions.
The ideal candidate should be possessing strong organizational and communication skills, be able to handle confidential information discreetly, and be comfortable managing multiple priorities. Prior experience or exposure to company secretarial or corporate governance work will be an added advantage.
Key Skills & Requirements
- Basic understanding or exposure to corporate secretarial / compliance work
- Strong organisational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
- Good written and verbal communication skills (for drafting emails, notes, and coordinating with teams)
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling documents and data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and document storage tools like OneDrive / SharePoint
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn and take ownership of tasks
