We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Residential Broadband Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot high-speed internet, Wi-Fi, and related connectivity solutions for residential customers. The role requires technical expertise in networking, cabling, and hardware configuration along with strong communication skills to deliver an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and activate broadband internet, Wi-Fi routers, and set-top boxes at residential premises.
  • Perform site surveys to determine wiring requirements and optimal installation points.
  • Diagnose and repair issues related to broadband connectivity, cabling, modems, routers, and home networking devices.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and upgrades to ensure reliable service.
  • Provide customers with guidance on equipment usage, Wi-Fi optimization, and troubleshooting tips.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, safety protocols, and local regulations.
  • Maintain accurate service records, installation reports, and ticket closures.
  • Collaborate with technical support teams to resolve escalated customer issues.
  • Manage tools, testing devices, and installation materials effectively.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Diploma / ITI / Technical Certification in Electronics, Electrical, or Networking (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–3 years of experience in broadband installation, networking, or related technical field preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of broadband technology (DSL, Fiber, FTTH, GPON, Wi-Fi, LAN).
  • Familiarity with networking concepts (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, basic routing).
  • Ability to read technical diagrams and use diagnostic tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-first approach.
  • Good communication skills (local language + basic English preferred).
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel locally for service calls.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25, ₹40,000.00 per month
