**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Installation**:

- Install, inspect, and test air conditioning systems, including HVAC units, ductwork, and electrical wiring.
- Ensure installations meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
- **Maintenance**:

- Perform regular preventive maintenance on AC systems and components.
- Clean, adjust, and repair systems to maintain optimal performance.
- Monitor and log system performance metrics.
- **Repair**:

- Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions or inefficiencies.
- Repair or replace defective components, such as motors, compressors, and thermostats.
- Respond promptly to emergency repair requests.
- **Customer Interaction**:

- Communicate effectively with clients to explain system issues, provide solutions, and answer questions.
- Provide cost estimates and timelines for repairs and installations.
- **Compliance and Safety**:

- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding HVAC systems.
- Follow company safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and materials used.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in HVAC systems preferred.
- Proven experience as an AC Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of air conditioning systems, tools, and equipment.
- Familiarity with electrical and mechanical principles.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Physical ability to work in confined spaces, lift heavy equipment, and work in varying environmental conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

**Preferred Skills**:

- EPA certification for handling refrigerants.
- Experience with commercial and residential systems.
- Knowledge of energy-efficient and sustainable HVAC technologies.
