Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role, based at Atharva University in Mumbai, for a Director of R&D Incubation. The role involves leading research and development initiatives, managing and mentoring teams, overseeing innovation projects, and ensuring the delivery of impactful results. The Director will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, foster creative solutions to academic and industry challenges, and spearhead initiatives to promote research excellence and innovation.

Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in Research and Development (R&D) and strong experience in conducting both academic and applied research
  • Skilled in Team Management and Team Leadership to inspire and efficiently guide diverse groups
  • Proficiency in Project Management and the ability to oversee and execute multiple projects effectively
  • Strategic thinking, strong problem-solving capabilities, and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrable success leading institutional or organizational research-focused initiatives
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, with a preference for a doctoral degree
  • Experience in the education or startup ecosystems will be considered a valuable advantage
