Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Brand Merchandiser located in Mumbai. The Brand Merchandiser will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with merchandising, sales, marketing, and retail activities. This includes but not limited to, managing inventory, developing seasonal merchandise plans, collaborating with suppliers and vendors, coordinating with the sales team, and ensuring optimal customer service is provided.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English.
  • Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in sales, retail, or marketing with proven ability to drive growth and revenue.
  • A creative mindset to analyze trends and present novel solutions to drive the brand forward.
  • Effective negotiation in markdown and actively monitoring inventory monthly to maximize profitability.
  • A strong understanding of fashion retail or ecommerce operations
  • Knowledge of event management, budgeting, and vendor management.
  • A bachelor's degree or higher in Fashion Merchandising, Retail Management, Marketing, or related field.
  • Planning and handling promotions for allocated designers in coordination with the marketing team.
  • Monitoring client orders and alterations which also includes but not limited to guiding and mentoring other merchandisers for solving client issues and chaotic situations.
