Managerial role in the global pricing and commercials Team of HCLTech. The role requires ability to structure IT deals, developing commercial deal strategy, guiding and taking lead in customer negotiations, risk assessment, develop mitigation frameworks, manage internal and external stakeholders.

JD:

  • Key focus will be on building the pricing and commercial construct for IT deals while responding to RFPs in a manner that enables winning business
  • Creating commercial strategies and proposals that are competitive and also tailored to meet the specific needs and expectations of potential clients
  • Leading commercial negotiations while finding ways to protect HCLTech's position
  • Partner with Sales and delivery teams in analyzing and making recommendations regarding deal specific financial strategies and solutions.
  • Actively engaging in deal shaping, mitigating risks and creating winning strategies.
  • Responsible for creating Deal P&L's and Financials for each opportunity to keep track of margins as per Accounting GAAPs. Understanding of Cash flows, NPV, IRR, ROIs etc.
  • Collaborate with various finance functions like tax, treasury, accounting during deal cycle
  • Ensure compliance with HCLTech's processes, approval requirements and delegation of authorities during deal cycle
  • Pricing Process Improvements and Automation
  • Manage a team of high performing resources and ensure development of their commercial acumen.

Key Requirements:

  • Preferable qualification - CA or MBA (finance)
  • Should possess strong commercial bent of mind and strong analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to structure uniquely to company advantage as well as enable ease to sell.
  • Ability to link different terms and their impact on each other.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Understanding of financial statements and their interplay
  • Strive in a high performance, fast paced, global environment
  • Flexibility of working hours and ability to travel
  • Good understanding of Excel and PowerPoint
  • 10 years working experience in FP&A or pricing function in Large IT company.
