Business Finance Role

This position involves providing financial support to the business teams, focusing on optimizing costs and improving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial analysis and be able to develop processes for new initiatives.

  • Developing deep understanding of the business and consumers, categories and other functions of the organization
  • Doing data driven trend analysis for P&L and revenue metrics with focus on improving the shape of the P&L whale highlighting key insights to leadership

The role requires strong Excel/ Google sheet skills, good business acumen, and ability to work with and influence cross-functional teams. Previous experience as a business finance partner is desired, experience in a start-up/Retail would be preferred.

Responsibilities:
  1. Day to day P&L Management by having a good relationship with the business stakeholder to drive business and growth
  2. Creating processes for new initiatives and improving existing ones with focus on governance & cost leakage
  3. Preparing, managing and publishing business scorecards
  4. Stakeholder Management & working very closely with the business teams
  5. Run weekly reviews with the business stakeholders

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • CA/MBA/B.Tech
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience post qualification
  • Strong interpersonal & stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in Financial modeling and PowerPoint skills
