Job Description: TEM Wireless Optimization Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Wireless Optimization Analyst to support our Telecom Expense Management (TEM) initiatives. This role will focus on optimizing wireless services by identifying cost-saving opportunities, ensuring contract compliance, and improving the efficiency of wireless assets and data usage.

Key Responsibilities:

Rate Plan & Feature Analysis

Review and analyze wireless rate plans and feature sets to ensure alignment with usage patterns and business needs.

Device Optimization

Evaluate wireless devices to recommend optimal plans and features for cost efficiency and performance.

Zero Usage Review

Identify lines with zero usage and recommend appropriate actions, such as suspension or disconnection.

Contract Review

Analyze provider contracts, terms, and SLAs to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for renegotiation or improvement.

Spend & Trend Analysis

Conduct in-depth analysis of wireless spend trends to uncover anomalies and highlight cost-saving opportunities.

Data Usage Monitoring

Track and monitor data usage, identifying high-usage users and recommending usage controls or plan adjustments.

Utilization Analysis

Identify underutilized or overutilized lines and provide recommendations to optimize usage and eliminate waste.

Unbilled Data Review

Analyze unbilled data to uncover hidden usage and ensure accurate forecasting and billing.

IoT Device Monitoring

Monitor the performance and usage trends of IoT wireless devices, ensuring efficient operation and connectivity.

Contract Compliance Optimization

Develop and implement recommendations to ensure services and usage align with contractual commitments.

Billing Discrepancy Resolution

Identify, investigate, and resolve billing discrepancies with service providers.

Reporting & Documentation

Prepare comprehensive reports detailing wireless performance metrics, cost trends, optimization efforts, and realized savings.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4 years of wireless telecom experience
  • Advanced level of English

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Proactiveness and ability to solve issues independently
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Advanced Excel knowledge including macros, pivot tables, and common formulas
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
