Role : Manager/Dy. Manager (Technical support)

Planned territory : PAN India customers

Location for posting : Pune (or Delhi)

Reports to : Director (Sales & Marketing)

Experience : 8 to 10 years in Customer Technical support/Project Management roles

Education : Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical)

Exp'd date of joining : Jan 2026

Preferable sector : Automotive companies, handling auto components/system for OEMs for

HVAC, Mobile Refrigeration or from Agricultural, Off Highway sector etc.

Responsibilities

 Serve as front line contact to offer complete technical support for SPAL Products for all enquiries from

external customers in India

 Act as an advocate for the customer and effectively communicate feedback to and from all stake

holders (Product development, Quality, plant, specialist at HQ, Sales) in a very clear & concise manner

 Understand customer final application and mission profile to be able to provide the right solution.

 Support the customer for use in the proper way our products and resolve any doubt in how to control

our product.

 Ask customers targeted questions to quickly understand the root of the problem

 Assist internal groups with technical issues and inquiries

 Take ownership of technical issues from initial report to final resolution

 Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers'

technical enquiries and recommendations

 Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams

 Ensure all issues are properly logged, prepare accurate and timely reports

 Create support documentation to be used internally as well as for customers (like FAQs, User manuals,

Installation guides etc)

 Maintain good business relationships with all clients

 initial technical training is provided at HQ Italy and also annually

Requirements and skills

 Proven work experience in Engineering, preferably in permanent magnet motors or as a Technical

Support Engineer or similar role

 proven work experience in engineering with customers in the automotive field as technical support for

automotive applications, with preference in the field of buses, trucks, agriculture ....

 willingness to travel to clients when necessary

 Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products

 Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues

 Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

 Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal

 The candidate must possess good leadership skills and excellent relational skills having to interface with

the various company functions.

 The candidate, preferably a graduate in electrical/electronic engineering or mechanical engineering and

has significant experience gained in mechatronic companies

 Should possess strong managerial, organizational and problem solving skills.

Other Skills/knowledge expected:

 Ability to navigate challenging situations, in a professional manner

 Proven ability to effectively communicate both orally and written Business communication, with

individuals of varying technical skills and abilities

 Work collaboratively with willingness to listen and work in fast paced challenging environment

 Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize, manage, multi-task and execute cross-

functionally

 Candidate should have proven ability to lead, influence and collaborate

 Excellent spoken and written English and Hindi

 Good technical and domain Knowledge, Team Player, Result Oriented, Passion for Excellence.

 Very good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook etc.

 Availability of passport, to travel to Italy

Compensation package

 Commensurate with past experience, credentials and job responsibility

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,200, ₹1,400,000.00 per year
