Role & responsibilities

Job Description: Lead Developer / Dev Lead - Creative Automation (L35)

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of custom workflows for creative production and automation using Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Firefly.
  • Architect and design scalable solutions that integrate Adobe APIs (Creative Cloud Libraries API, Photoshop API, Firefly Services API).
  • Mentor and guide a team of full-stack developers, ensuring best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other stakeholders, to define project requirements and deliverables.
  • Oversee the development lifecycle, from concept to deployment, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Extend integrations with other creative partners, cloud services, and APIs to enhance creative automation capabilities.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation in creative automation.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Extensive experience in and server-side JavaScript.
  • Strong background in cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Expertise in workflow design and development for cloud-scale workflows, using pro-code or low-code/no-code workflow builder tools
  • Deep Expertise in API development and integration.
  • Deep understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Firefly.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (React, Angular, or ).
  • Proficiency in back-end app development stack and technologies for event-driven workflows and serverless actions
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Previous Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in full-stack development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of leading development teams and delivering complex projects.
  • Experience with creative automation tools and workflows is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working with creatives and within the creative domain, actively using creative technology, to accelerate and optimize creative production
  • Experience with AI and Generative AI technologies.
  • Familiarity with vision models and multi-modal models.
  • Knowledge of using AI to enhance creative automation workflows.
  • Experience with Adobes app development framework – Adobe App Builder
