Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled
PLC/SCADA Engineer
with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, troubleshooting, and integrating PLCs, SCADA, and edge computing systems for industrial environments. The role requires strong knowledge of communication protocols, OT/IT integration, and field device connectivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLCs
    such as
    Siemens (TIA Portal, WinCC), Delta, and CompactLogix
    controllers.
  • Integrate PLC systems
    with
    Siemens Industrial Edge, Docker containers, and SCADA applications
    for real-time monitoring and control.
  • Configure and work with industrial communication protocols
    including
    Modbus, OPC UA, and Profinet.
  • Connect, calibrate, and validate field devices
    such as
    sensors, VFDs, HMIs
    , and other machine interfaces.
  • Deploy, monitor, and maintain edge applications
    , ensuring continuous data acquisition and assisting in
    failure signature mapping
    for predictive insights.
  • Support OT/IT integration
    , enabling secure and reliable data flow between operational systems and analytics platforms.
  • Troubleshoot control and communication issues across PLCs, SCADA, and edge devices.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including control logic diagrams, wiring layouts, and configuration reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Mechanical, Electrical, IT) for system commissioning and optimization.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree/Diploma in
    Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • 2–3 years of experience in
    PLC and SCADA programming, integration, and commissioning.
  • Hands-on experience with
    Siemens TIA Portal, WinCC, Delta PLCs, or Allen-Bradley CompactLogix.
  • Strong understanding of
    industrial networking, OT security, and communication protocols (Modbus, OPC UA, Profinet).
  • Familiarity with
    Edge computing, Docker, and IIoT concepts
    is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of
    VFDs, HMIs, and field instrumentation
    .
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in team-based environments.

Preferred (Good to Have):

  • Exposure to
    Industrial IoT platforms or cloud-based monitoring systems.
  • Basic knowledge of
    Python, Node-RED, or MQTT
    for data integration.
  • Experience in
    Industrial Edge device setup and containerized application deployment.

Work Environment:

  • On-site work at industrial plants and customer locations may be required.
  • Travel for installation, testing, and commissioning support as needed.
