Job Title:
PLC Engineer – Automation & SPM Development

Location & Openings:

● Bangalore (Dabbaspet) – 3 positions

● Chennai (Sriperumbudur) – 2 positions

Budget:
5-6 LPA

Experience:
2–5 Years

Qualification:
B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering

Industry:
Industrial Automation / SPMs / Robotics / Motion Control / PLC-driven Equipment

Key Responsibilities

PLC Programming & Development

  • Develop, modify, and implement PLC programs using Mitsubishi, Delta, Innovance PLCs.
  • Design and integrate HMI screens for machine visualization and control.
  • Maintain program documentation, version control, and backup management.
  • Work with Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and other relevant programming methods.

Machine Commissioning

  • Handle PLC installation, I/O mapping, testing, and debugging on shop floor/customer site.
  • Support machine trials, validation, and production handover.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for SPM (Special Purpose Machine) commissioning.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

  • Diagnose and resolve issues with PLC, HMI, sensors, actuators, and servo drives.
  • Address electrical/electronic breakdowns and perform root cause analysis.
  • Execute preventive and predictive maintenance activities for automation systems.

Design & Integration

  • Work with mechanical, electrical, and design teams on control panel design and wiring diagrams.
  • Integrate PLCs with sensors, drives, pneumatic systems, and communication protocols (Modbus, RS232, RS485, Ethernet, EtherCAT).
