Growth Manager – Sales

We are looking for a
high-ownership Growth & Admissions Manager
who can drive
revenue, partnerships, and student onboarding end-to-end
. This role sits at the intersection of
B2B sales, counselling, and ecosystem building
.
You will be responsible for
selling to companies and recruitment agencies
, while also
building supply
by onboarding
students, training institutes, and alumni networks
. This is not a desk-only role — it requires
calling, convincing, relationship-building, and structured follow-ups
.
Key responsibilities
Sales & Revenue (Primary Responsibility)
Call, pitch, and close
companies, recruitment agencies, and employers- Explain our offering clearly and convert leads into paying customers
- Handle inbound and outbound leads via calls, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and email
- Maintain a clean pipeline and follow-up system
- Work towards monthly revenue and conversion targets
2. Student Counselling & Onboarding
- Counsel students and job-seekers about opportunities, career pathways, and onboarding process
- Convince and onboard students onto the platform/program
- Guide students through documentation, profile creation, and readiness
- Act as a
trusted point of contact
, not just a salesperson
3. Partnerships & Ecosystem Building
- Identify and onboard
training institutes, skill centers, colleges, and academies - Build partnerships with:
- Training institutes
- Placement cells
- Alumni networks
- Coordinate with institutes to source students in bulk
- Maintain long-term relationships with partners
4. Outreach & Marketing Support
- Source students and partners via
LinkedIn, WhatsApp groups, referrals, and cold outreach - Assist in executing simple marketing initiatives:
- WhatsApp campaigns
- LinkedIn outreach
- Webinars / info sessions
- Collect on-ground insights to improve messaging and pitch
Who Should Apply

calling, convincing, and closing - Can speak confidently to both businesses and students
- Enjoy relationship-building more than just transactional sales
- Are okay working in a fast-moving startup environment
- Can handle ambiguity and build processes from scratch
Required Skills
- Strong verbal communication (Hindi & English; regional language is a plus)
- Sales mindset with empathy (especially while counselling students)
- Basic understanding of LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Google Sheets/CRM tools
- Ability to follow up consistently and close loops
Good to Have (Not Mandatory)
- Experience in
EdTech, recruitment, training institutes, or staffing - Prior counselling, admissions, or telesales experience
- Startup or early-stage company exposure
