Capgemini is seeking a Director-level executive for the role of Transition Management to lead and deliver complex transition programs across geographies and towers.
Location: Bangalore, Mumbai
Our Ideal Candidate15+ years of overall IT experience, with at least 10 years in Transition Management or related leadership roles.Proven Track record of managing complex and large IT EngagementsPrior experience in designing transition solutions for large engagementsHave excellent communication skills at all levels with the ability to convey complex information.Prior experience in managing delivery teams and participated in transition projectsDisplays a thorough understanding of application management and transition servicesStrong Presentation, Stakeholder Management, Communication & Facilitation skills with intense customer orientationPossess excellent analytical skills to think problems/circumstances through and developcredible/detailed plans to address, thoroughly analysing the "what if" scenariosWorking knowledge or certifications on PMP, Prince2 and other similar industry specific standards (desirable)Understanding of Agile Methodology (desirable)Adjusts and align positively to situations that involve rapidly changing tasks, shifting priorities, simultaneous demands or transitions into new assignmentsTakes a proactive, self-reliant approach, identifying and seizing opportunities and taking decisive action Responsibilities
Pre-Sales:
Respond to RFP/RFI by drafting the application transition solution including approach, timelines & costsDevelop Transition strategy to move projects from Client/3rd parties to Capgemini including knowledge transferInfluence and shape application transition solutions, collaborating with bid team, solution analysts and architects to come up with a winning proposal.Develop Transition project plan, milestones and effort estimates managing project deliverable in line with project planParticipated and lead client Orals/defence meetings, due diligence, BAFOTransition Project:
Delivery of Transition projects for large sized engagements with multi tower and muti geography presenceDelivery of project responsibilities to time, cost and quality, accountable for full transition projectManager complex knowledge transfer process effectively using all the quality checks.Responsible to ensure smooth and seamless support transition from project phase into Hypercare stabilisation phases and finally hand over to business as usual.Ensure appropriate reporting is in place to monitor the effectiveness of the project.Produce metrics for service transition on a regular basis for internal and external client consumption.General:
Actively participate in Internal Organization activities – Performance reviews, Process improvements, transition methodology improvementsShare Learnings, coach, and mentor other transition team members.Provide Leadership oversight on the Organization initiatives focussing on value and cost benefit.Regular review of Service Transition processes, to ensure quality, consistency, and validityEnsure commitment to achieving organisational and departmental goals and objectives-
