Job Title: Zscaler L2 Engineer

Location: Pune

Experience: 2 5 Years

We are looking for candidates who have hands-on experience in Zscaler (ZIA & ZPA) and have worked on L2 level support activities including troubleshooting, policy configuration, and user access issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, configure, and troubleshoot Zscaler ZIA & ZPA environments.
  • Perform L2 level root-cause analysis and resolve escalated incidents & service requests.
  • Work on policy creation, URL filtering, SSL inspection rules, and access controls.
  • Monitor & analyze user logs, traffic flow, and provide resolution for performance or connectivity issues.
  • Troubleshoot Zscaler Client Connector (ZCC) issues across user devices.
  • Handle PAC file and Location / Firewall-based routing configurations.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot App Connectors and ensure availability for ZPA access.
  • Work on GRE/IPsec Tunnel (Tunnel 2.0) related issues between branches and Zscaler cloud.
  • Work closely with internal security, infrastructure, and network teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Create documentation and share knowledge with junior engineers where required.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong hands-on experience in Zscaler ZIA & ZPA platform.
  • Good understanding of Proxy, PAC files, Certificate chain & SSL inspection concepts.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, Routing & Switching fundamentals.
  • Experience with Firewall / VPN and Cloud-based security platforms.
  • Ability to analyze Zscaler logs & security events.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Zscaler Certifications (ZCCP / ZCE) would be an added advantage.

Preferred Background:

  • Candidates working in Network Security / SOC / NOC with Zscaler support experience.
  • Hands-on exposure in handling end-user and enterprise-level support tickets.
